Before you set 2026 goals, do this first
The final weeks of the year are a strange mix of exhaustion and excitement.
You’re wrapping up projects, checking off last-minute tasks, and already dreaming about what’s next.
But before you jump into goal-setting mode, pause.
Because if you don’t take time to reflect you’ll end up repeating the same patterns next year.
This is your reminder to slow down, zoom out, and review your year like a CEO, not just a service provider.
Here’s my simple 3-step framework to do it right 👇
Reflect: What Worked, What Didn’t
Start with honesty.
Ask yourself:
- Which offers or projects made me most proud?
- Where did I overdeliver without being compensated enough?
- Which marketing channels brought me the best (and worst) clients?
This isn’t about judgment it’s about clarity.
When you see the patterns, you can start making smarter, more strategic decisions next year.
Refocus: Simplify What You’re Building
If this year felt chaotic, it’s probably because you were juggling too much.
Take what worked and double down.
Cut what didn’t even if it feels uncomfortable.
→ Streamline your offers
→ Refine your niche
→ Focus on fewer, better clients
Remember: You don’t need to do more to grow you need to do what works, better.
Reset: Plan with Intention
Now that you know what’s staying and what’s going map your vision for 2026.
Ask:
- What does “success” actually look like next year (revenue, freedom, lifestyle)?
- What needs to change in how I operate to make that possible?
- What systems or support do I need to sustain growth?
Start the year with clarity, not chaos.
Because growth doesn’t come from doing more it comes from being intentional.
Remember
You don’t need another big goal right now.
